About Michelle
Michelle grew up on a farm in the west-central Minnesota town of Murdock surrounded by family and friends. That’s where she learned the time-tested family values of hard work, thrift, and help for those in need.
Michelle attended St. Catherine’s University where she received her degree in chemistry. During college, Michelle met her future husband, Craig, who was attending the Naval Academy. They married after graduation and Michelle traveled with Craig during his five years of service in the U.S. submarine force.
Michelle later earned an MBA degree and became a Certified Public Accountant where she learned how hard business owners work to hire good employees, grow their companies and stay profitable.
Michelle and Craig started their family and Michelle soon became an active school, church, Cub Scouts and sports team volunteer. She now works part time as a Project Manager and is seeking to serve our communities as a candidate for State Senate.
